This Is Love

If this doesn't say love, I don't know what does.

My parents have been married for 23 years, and are still so in love.

I have been so blessed to grow up in a home, were I was able to witness, the love, friendship, and partnership my parents share.

Not only have I seen it through there actions and the love they show for each other, but also that they have had 5 children, and I would say have done a heck of a job raising us together.

I love my Mom and Dad, and love seeing them STILL falling in love with each other more and more everyday.

They are amazing examples of what you can accomplish in a marriage, it is what someday, I will have as well, I know it takes work, but they are a success story.

So Mom and Dad, here is too you, you love birds, Happy Anniversary, thank you for being in love and showing it.

Graduating!!!

I did it.... I can't believe it is here, but it is.  I passed my State Boards... both the written and the practical.  My last day of school is next Tuesday, and I will be graduating with 2015 hours under my belt... this really is so bittersweet, more of an update too come. 

OH... and P.S. I got the a job at a Salon!!!

Thought of the day....

Those of you who read this, haha the few (love you guys.)  Know that I was out of the dating scene for over a year.... so now that I am back in it, oh my lanz!!  I feel handicapped when it comes too dating, don't get me wrong I love meeting new people, having awkward moments, and all the free movies and food and what not.  But seriously it is draining and it is an emotional rollercoaster... but you know what, I wouldn't change a thing. I love it and I love that I get another chance, next time, it will be a home run!!!

BIG NEWS!!!

Who wants to guess where I am going in July of 2011?

I am so excited, this has been a dream of mine for a really long time and now I have the opportunity to go and serve and hold cute little babies like this.

And if you haven't guessed where I am going you can check my bucket list, because now, I get to cross this one off.

A Few Thoughts

So, here is a little update from my brain. Enjoy!!!

 I LOVE Reese's Puff Cereal, I don't know why I had never tried it before, but I have now and I am addicted.

Okay, Val Kilmer, do I care he is like over 50, no.  Do I realize he doesn't look like this anymore, yes.  Do I care? No.   Seriously he was in his prime in the 90's and I am in love with Val Kilmer's 90's self. 

Other bits:

• I just got called into nursery, and I am so excited!!!
• I make headbands, all the time, that is all I do.
• I am almost done with school
• I LOVE my family and friends
• I have become remotivated in all aspects of life
• My best buddy left for Panama on Monday, and I wont see him for 22 months
• Another friend gets home in three weeks
• And my very best friend, leaves on her mission in 3 and a half weeks.

 And Lastly

 I saw Fun. last weekend, which was fabulous.

AND... I get to see MotionCity Soundtrack this weekend, with some of my best guy friends from the SG.

My Life is CRAZY!!

So maybe I haven't posted in awhile, but it is because I have been having a crazy good time with everything going on in my life.  So here is a quick little update, so I can hurry and get back to work with everything else.

Running... yes please.  So my Mom and I did our first 5k I came in under 25 minutes, I have two more this month and one more next month.  I have a need for speed, I heart running it is good for the soul... haha.

 Okay so seriously, I can't say enough good things about this group of girls, they are all my best of friends and they add to that phrase in there own ways.  They are fabulous and it is seriously so interesting to me that I started hair school when I did, (because I had always wanted to do hair, I just didn't start till I had been graduated for a year and a half.) These girls were all supposed to be in my life, because this last year has been extremely difficult and if I didn't have friends like them, it would have been so hard to get through.  So thanks girls, you are the best!!!  I have gabbed long enough now the pictures.

Here is the beginning of our trip, we love da bears.  We had to make ALOT of stops on the way down.

 Don't even worry about it... on the way home.  I spilled gasoline all over the ground and my car, embarassing to say the least but I got a free car wash.  But seriously I do not know what happened... I didn't pull the trigger thing or anything.  But I did keep screaming asking if it was going to explode.

 We went to the Vegas Temple... seriously it was beautiful, I loved it!!!!

P.S We did listen to conference, it was even on when we went to the D.I.

 New Addiction: Cold Hot Chocolate, thanks Sammy for going and trying it with me, seriously everyone else missed out. Plus we met Romii, oh hey!!!

 We ate ALOT, I am still trying to get back to my regular eating habits, I just always want food now, thanks Vegas. Us at Cheesecake Factory, SOOOOO good.

And don't even worry I found the man of my dreams.... oh Donny!!!!

THE MISSION

Cutest, little Kev-Kev, little bunny got his mission call to Sacramento, California Spanish Speaking.  Needless to say we are so excited and SO proud of him.  He will be an amazing missionary, the people of California are so lucky to have him for the next to years, but after that he is ours.  I miss him already.

Sara Bareilles - King Of Anything

Dear Joyce,
I just wanted to let you know I think you are a classy old lady. But I will say I very much dislike that we can't eat food in your class the only reason we do it is to stay awake snd listen to you lecture for 5 HOURS. Also, I find that you like us to wear our capes when you lecture.... We get hot Joyce, really hot. So maybe please can we not wear them, I understand if it is for lab but not lecture.
Lastly what is this test business come on Joyce let's think about not doing that. But it is okay I enjoy the class just the same even though I think you dislike me slightly for doing that's what she said jokes and putting my hand in your lotion and not using like a wooden spoon.

I love my mornings.....

All I have to say is this, I love school I cry almost everyday because of laughing too hard.
I have some of the most amazing friends any girl could ask for and we are going to VEGAS this month!!!
I love my family and how close we are!!! I am so grateful for the laughs, trips, and support I receive from them!!!
Although there are hard moments I am so happy to be at home. I love being single, there are so many opportunities and do many things I get to experience, I am living life and I love it!!
And I am so grateful for the gospel in my life, it is such a blessing and it has helped me through everything.
Everything is awesome, Haha I just learned how to spell that word!!! Oh lovely

Coming Soon....

So basically this has been in the works for a while.... BUT, I am finally opening up an etsy/blog/swapmeet going/boutique shin-dig attendee.  For my headbands!!!  Cross your fingers and wish me luck, we will see how this goes!!!!  Currently all of the above is under construction, and I am working like MAD on the fall collection... hehe ( I sound like a designer..) So be excited it will be coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!!  

P.S  My blog is even going to have a sassy picture thing you click on just to look at my headbands at a different blog.  Lovely, I know.

P.P.S The best part, these headbands have something other headbands don't they are interchangeable!!!  Bah!!!  So exciting.

The Beginning of The End.

Another semester has started and I definitely have mixed feeling on this one.  Why, you might ask?

Because it is my LAST semester of COLLEGE, which mean after my last semester I GRADUATED from COLLEGE!!!!!  I will soon be a workin' woman!!!!

But can I just say how bittersweet closing this chapter of my life will be?  Well I will tell you then, it is OH-SO bittersweet.  I have come to know and LOVE the girls I go to school with, they are my best friends and I rely on them so much, they probably get sick of my stories and how loud I am (which I actually found out today.)  I know they will all be life long friends and to top it off I am going to be in a room with them for 5 hours every day just waxing and other cool stuff I am sure.  (Sammy you will be missed enjoy being in barbering with "R")

Also I love the teachers that I have had and everything I have learned and am still learning, I am so greatful I decided that hair is what I wanted to do, because I just want to learn everything possible, I am a sponge or like clay for molding, some good saying like that.

Then my little sister (sniff sniff-tear tear) has started college as well, and we are going to the same school, I am so excited to be sharing this experience with her and I am so glad we get to be doing it at the same school.

Life, just a thought

So here I go attempting to blog yet again, third time is the charm right?

My thoughts on life with my first post to a new blog? Well to sum it up life isn't always what it seems, what you think life will be, what you dream up doesn't always happen.  But I know from my experiences in that department with a good attitude it has made all the difference.  

I am happy now, more then ever, life has so much to offer and I am so excited to live it.

Especially with all the amazing, supportive people around me.

I am excited to blog I have a feeling it will be fun and sassy.

So in conclusion I think life is sassy and I am stoked for it.
