San Georghe!!! O-lay!!!

 

Our family went hiking at Zion's and my cousin Ashley came with her baby Noel, her and her husband were nice enough to let me and my sisters stay with her for the weekend.  I am already so excited to stay with them again when I go down in June!!!

 My Mom being a straight up Ghansta.. she makes 50 cent look like a poser.. she is legit.

And don't worry the sights of Zions were amazing as well.

 I think Anna should seriously consider become a forest ranger... this Asian family was feeding the squirrels their crousants and so Anna {as she was coughing} said $100.00 dollar fine.

I guess she was right because we found the sign later... super impressive cousin.

 Our family went to Dixie Rock... more then half of our family has a fear of heights so it always makes for an interesting experience hiking... and my Dad was cute enough to give my Mom a piggy back down part of the mountain so she didn't ruin her sandals.. Adorable and I was super impressed with his strength.

 And what is a Saint George trip without shopping

which as you can tell my Dad LOVED... so much.

 We know how to load on the good food

which of course our trip consisted a lot of eating.

 And swimming/skim boarding 

which Josh and Kev picked up so so fast.

Josh wants to go down again and compete...

Apparently he thought he was that good that fast.

Aub and Kev.. aren't they seriously the cutest thing ever!!!

Me and Addison

 And I was lucky enough to see Addison this weekend.  He showed my family how to skimboard, he is kinda a big deal in the skimboarding community.  And I am lucky enough to be his friend haha!!

But seriously he is sponsored and such and I got to spend most of Saturday with him and I am SO excited to see him in 3 weeks.  I can hardly wait actually.  If you want to see his mad skim boarding skills and also him puncturing his lung click {here}

 And to finish of the trip we went to Kolob and saw the beauty of it all on Easter Sunday.

A Conversation with Gabs

Gabby aka {Gabs} is my little sister

She and I are identical

In more then our looks...

Personalities too, but her's is a bit more extreme then mine.

And she is SO much smarter then me... and she is not even in junior high.

Today Gabs called me at work, this is how our conversation went:

Me: Hello?

Gabs: {Pretending to be this guy named Trevor} Rambling on...

Me: Hi Gabby, what's up?

Gabs: Nothing just calling, what are you doing?

Me: I am working

Gabs: Are you sitting at the salon?

Me: No I am at M West

Gabs: Oh.. so you are tapping stuff?

Me: Yep

Gabs: Did you get Cafe Rio today

{At my work every Wednesday different companies bring us lunches for free}

Me: No they brought us Rumbi

Gabs: OH!!  Can I have your left overs?

Me: I will think about it.

Gabs: Okay.. what are you doing?

Me: Gabs, you already asked me that question.

Gabs: Oh yeah, haha I forgot.

Me: Haha you are fine, I will see you after work okay

{Here is my FAVORITE part of our phone call, this happens regularly when you talk to Gabby.}

Gabs: Okay I love you

Me: Okay I love you too, have fun.

Gabs: I will, I love you, I will talk to you later.

Me: Okay love you bye.

Gabs: Okay love you bye {she barks} [Inside family joke]

Me: Okay bye.

Gabs: Okay I love you.. talk to you later, more in my head.

Me: Okay bye.

Gabs: Bye Love you....

I think she loves me... I have the cutest little sister!!!  She is out of control, I will keep her though.

Randomness of the FB

This post is SO random..

Random friend request,

I thought she does not look familiar,

but maybe we went to high school together..

So I accept her friend request, just so I can see who she is.

She is my ex-boyfriends new girlfriend.

And other then that I have no idea who she is.

Quite honestly... if I don't know who you are, I am NOT going accept your friend request.

And I have a feeling the only reason you added me is because I previously dated your man.

when the only thing we have in common is the guy we dated.

So it was okay...

This is me now, a year later... and I have never been happier.
I am single
Living at home
I am working two jobs
I have graduated from college
I am experiencing life and living it to the fullest
I have made so many wonderful friends
Along with some amazing memories
I am going to Africa, a life long dream of mine.
And I am fulfilling it...
I am SO happy now.

All in all, I don't think I look much different. 

I am still Meagan..

But I am so so SO much happier

This last year has been hard,

BUT

I wouldn't change a thing

I have learned so much

I have have grown so much as a person.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter Day Saints, I am a MORMON.

And I am SO proud and SO blessed to have the gospel in my life.

I am so grateful for temples, the blessing of having eternal families.

And for the knowledge that knowing after this life I will be with my family.

I am also so blessed to know that one day I will be sealed to my husand {whoever he is}

and we will have OUR eternal family.

I am blessed to take part in the work that goes on inside these magnificent buildings.

I am grateful for our modern day prophet,

Thomas S. Monson.

I am so grateful to have an amazing leader to guide and direct us

on the right path.

I am grateful for General Conference,

and the words of wisdom that are given to us by our leaders of the Church.

I am also so grateful for Joseph Smith,

who at the young age of 14 prayed to find out what church he should join

and was told none of them.

And what came forth was one of the greatest blessings I have ever known in my life.

I am so grateful for his sacrifice and bringing forth the Gospel

and the Book of Mormon.

I am a proud member of the LDS church.

I am blessed every day from it,

I have a testimony of the gospel.

I know the Book of Mormon to be a wonderful thing,

and I know that reading this book,

it has strengthened my testimony.

I love this gospel,

it has helped me through so many trials

and it is what gives me my light.

Because tonight, I was able to see one of my best friends

Mush and I were able to get sushi and catch up.

This seriously was long overdue.  

I have missed her tons and can not wait to play with her more!!

and it was so fun catching up with her at FHE..

this question, LOLAVIE

means... laugh at life, in french.

Which totally suites because:

A. My life has NOT gone as expected

so I need to laugh about it.

B. I laugh at life all the time... seriously, I do.

  But I found Lolavie, because I stole it from Jennifer Aniston, 

she had this perfume come out, and originally, it's name was supposed to be Lolavie

but she changed it.

lolavie is also the name for my headband business
