So date 11 happened last night....this guy...I haven't met before, so prior to the date their was a bit of texting back and forth too get a feel of how this date might go down, from what I could tell he was sarcastic. So this pleased me, maybe just a little bit. I met him downtown at Stoneground (can I just tell you how much I love mapquest, finding this place without it would have been a challenge.) Anywho.... LOVED Stoneground we shared a Chipotle Chicken Pizza and talked and talked and talked and talked. Mr. Nick or Sir as I liked too call him is a business kinda guy who just moved back to Utah after traveling for awhile working around the U.S of A. He loves music, movies and history. And he has ginger tendencies, but only in his beard.
So after dinner we walked out too the parking lot and he suggested if I was up for it getting hot chocolate that we should, um.. .yes of course I am. So we got hot chocolate and talked alot more about our families, communication and the lack their of, and kinda what we are all about. So once we realized we had been talking for 4.5 hours.. we though it might be time too call it a night and we may have also came to that decision because the coffee place was closing.
So this date... super fun, Mr Nick aka Sir was super cute (even if he had ginger tendencies in his beard) and I loved talking to him, so don't even worry peeps, he has already asked me out for a second date... we be going to see Sherlock Holmes.
P.S. This was my 100th post... kind of a big deal.

Date 10
So.. here we go, we are 1/5 done with the dating game. Impressive right? But maybe not really... Which is fine too I have fun doing all of this so far. But I went out with Steve and he is building his town house in Draper right now.. he works for some techy company and he is 30.
Luckily he had the idea of a group date.. so I grabbed my friend Rina to go with us with one of his friends. We went to Italian Village (I miss the 70's motife of the place) and just sat and chatted... he then told me he couldn't date anyone under 23 and I was like uh.... I am 22.
Needless to say he was a bit surprised.. haha but he quickly changed his answer to 22, smooth Steve.
It was fun, good, and I liked the food.

Advice
I just wanted too share this message, my cousin and my sister both posted it on facebook. So I decided to watch it because both girls are extremely spiritual and amazing examples to me of being Christlike and excelling in the Gospel.
This devotional brought me too tears and I was filled with the Spirit, I hope that anyone struggling with anything in life watches this and feels the same comfort I did. I am so blessed and grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I know I have my struggles.. I sometimes lack faith and question why this is happening too me. But my Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost confirm too me yet again, how everything works out and how truly blessed I am.

Date 9
This date made me giddy, seriously, giddy.
So.. it was a blind date and I met him at Salt Lake Burger Company.
He is 6"5 seriously.. I love me tall boys and in business attire, yes please.
Our waitress knew it was our first date, so she was all excited for us, she was seriously adorable...
So we ate and chatted... it was fabulous... two and half hours later we decided it was time too leave seeing they were trying to close the restraunt.
But it was so so fun and he is a hard working motivated guy. Who is attractive and has a dry sense of humor and actually laughed at my jokes.
Kinda hope their is a second date.

I've Moved
Yep.. I have moved.
So random, so fabulous...
Last Sunday my good friend Em texted me telling me "hey my friends house has an open room and I thought of you," she gave me the info and I called Libby and went and saw the room.
I LOVED it, a room all too myself, in cute SLC area with great roommates...
So of course I decided ahhh yeah of course I will move in.
So I have moved.. and I live in a cute old school home with green walls and super nice roommates that are already showing me new foods... good, I was hoping to gain weight.
Plus I live 2 minutes away from Bridget and other friends.
This is going to be magical.
Pictures too come soon-ish.

Date 7
SO.. it is the Halloween season,
so of course our date would consist of celebrating this fine holiday.
It was a group date consisting of my sister, my cousin, myself and a few others.
These guys in our group were HILARIOUS... seriously.. loved it
We carved pumpkins..
Had pumpkin cake and root beer with dry ice.
Told scary stories.. of things really happening around in the Salt Lake area.
The story we ended up talking about was this guy who was in a gang and his family didn't know that he was {he was from the Salt Lake area} and one night he was shot and killed and his father was so upset that this happened, he and his son had a very close relationship.. so every night he goes to his grave and just prays for a few hours to find peace.
So naturally we decided to go to the Salt Lake Cemetery and check it out... the first time we went in our group was being slightly loud so the rent a cop in his ghost busters car drove up too us.. I didn't hear what he said because I took off.. {I don't know why but for some reason I always run when cops are around, bad choice}
So part of our group decided to distract the rent a cop and so as they were distracting them we ran into the cemetery. We were sneaking along trying to find the spot.. hiding in the shadows.. when one of the guys was like do you see that... of course I couldn't I have bad vision and it was dark so as we kept inching forward a man came out from behind a tomb stone and yelled at us saying "What are you doing here?"
I of course freak out and start running but I wasn't running very fast, my feet hurt and I didn't want to fall in an open grave {like my date did} and I really didn't want to step on a tomb stone... I look behind me and he is chasing us.. well actually he was chasing my sister and her date.
But still it was way freaking.. I was so scared.. I started running zig zag and turned to my left and freaked out thinking that was the guy, called him a d-bag only to realize it was my date.. oops.
So we run back too the car and the guy is standing right their just watching us.. my sisters date says... he has my keys..
I guess he dropped them when he yelled at them and the guy picked them up.. wow, perfect then he started running towards us.. but don't worry they knew the kid and had planned the whole thing.. it was pretty legit. And then I fell asleep.. but it was way fun and super creative.
Happy Halloween.

Date 6
Date 6 was fun.
It was a group blind date, my sister and I were set up by one of our cute co-workers.
So we drove down to Provo and of course Aubrey and I got into such a deep conversation we realized our next sign said Manti... oops.
So after turning around and back tracking a bit.
We went to cute Lisa and Sean's apartment and made dinner I made a dessert, that of course I found on pinterest.
{Toffee Fudge Bars.. basically amazing.}
Then we ate dinner, my date is an IT dude, graduating from BYU this April and he had a leather jacket all the other guys in our group that night wanted.
After dinner we went to Wal Mart and played the Wal Mart game where you retrieve 10 things from the store switch carts and then try and put everything back.
Unfortunately we lost... but it is okay, I was still entertained as IT guy almost took out Wal Mart bystanders too try and win.
We went back to the apartment and played Quelf and ate my way yummy dessert.
Definitely way fun!!!

Precious Moments
Last night I came home after working a really long day and my little cousin, Baby Z was over at our house, we were babysitting him while his parents went out on a date.
Z was super fussy and super tired, so I offered to hold him and try and get him too fall asleep, I snuggled up too him and just kept walking back and forth and bouncing him. After a few minutes he fell asleep, so I kept walking around, just cuddling him up in my arms. Thinking about how precious this little guy is and how much I love him. It was right then, that I knew I WANT to be a Mom, I have always know I would be a Mom, but I have never though, oh, I want to have my own babies.
I have always been content with just playing with other people kids and then handing them over when they are fussy. But little by little it has been building up inside of me and last night was that ah-ha moment.
I love little ah-ha moments, the ones that make you smile, get goose bumps, and feel super warm inside.
And that is exactly what it was.. I realized I can not wait to be a Mother, to have children and take of care of sweet little babies with my husband. I am so excited for it, it makes my heart so happy thinking about it.
After a while I laid Baby Z down too sleep and I laid right next too him, just in case he woke up.. I ended up falling asleep as well and my Mom came in and saw me and Baby Z next too each other asleep and she told me she can't wait to be a Grandma, and I would agree I can't wait for her to be a Grandma either.

Date 5
So... everyone should feel lucky because this one get's a story with it.
So date number 5 was with a cop, yes a cop from Austin, Texas.
Who happened to dance for Ballet West a few years ago.
Crazy random combo.. yes I would agree, but seriously.. one of the nicest, happiest guys I have ever met.
Me and and the Cop had been chatting for awhile.. and he said he was coming up and would like too take me out on a date when he got up here.
I was all for it, I mean he is kind of a stud.
So we set it for Friday... when low and behold I go to the Salon I work at and it says I have a client on Friday, 4:45.. with just a name and no phone number.
So their is no way I can call this Robert fellow and change the appointment because he left no number and I was supposed to be going on a date with the Cop at 5:00.
So I let the Cop know that he will need to come later.. I have a client.
He was fine with it and said he would be by a little bit later to pick me up.
So I was finishing up with my sister when I hear some commotion coming from the front of the Salon... one of the other stylist comes back and says your 4:45 is here.
And it is the Cop, with flowers, he wanted too book me out to make sure I didn't schedule a client and surprise me at the salon.
So we get ready to leave and he had rode.. a harley,
yes a Harley Davidson Motorcycle over to the salon and said well, you ready.
Umm... motorcycles are scary but I said okay.
And he was nice enough to bring me a nice pink scooter helmet.
{Which at one point I accidentally head butted him while wearing my very attractive helmet, he was not wearing a helmet.. so I am sure he enjoyed that.}
So we went to dinner at Lone Star
We played Miniature Golf and made lots of That's What She Said jokes.
Then got Cold Stone ice cream.
And then too finish off the night we went on a ride on the bike.
Seriously so so so much fun and he was so nice and charming and funny.
It was a good date, for sure!!!!
I guess that is why we are going out again on Monday.

The Sev
Tonight was a Sev run too pick up some slurpies.
And you are almost guaranteed some entertainment in your evening when stopping by at the Sev
tonight was definitely no different...
As we were leaving the fine establishment, a nice black gentleman sitting on the sidewalk in his shirt and tie. Started chatting with me.
He {black guy} asked how my night was going, I said good how is yours. He replied by saying good, then following with.. do you go running.
Which I replied, yeah, I do and he said;
you got thick legs.. and I mean that in a good way {because I started laughing}
he followed that up by saying I was just saying you got really nice legs!!
So I said thank you and he said have a good night and I told him too do the same.
Thank you black man sitting on the sidewalk and 7-11 for making my night.

Date 3
So... date three was yet another lunch date.
I am officially loving lunch dates because
A. They are short so if they are good you know their will be another one.
B. If they are not so good, it is a free lunch and you are out of their in 40 minutes, tops.
The boy I went out with was super nice,
motivated,
hard working,
and giving a kidney to his Mom.
Needless to say I was impressed with him... I would definitely say we could be friends...
So yeah, that was it with him. But I will say I love what I am learning on all these dates {although I have only been on three... I still take in alot and am learning.}
Which is always good.
3 down.
47 too go.

Date 1
Are you already impressed?
I already got date numero uno under my belt.
So yesterday {Labor Day} I went out with Mr. JPhelps...
Our date started at one in the afternoon, he said this was going to be an all day adventure.
I was totally down for this, I mean this Mr. Phelps was entertaining already and I had never even met him..
Yep, that is right, this was going to be a blind date.
An all day blind date.
So I met him at his house, and don't even worry he was definitely a cutie and I was introduced to his brothers and girlfriend who were coming with us.
So we took off and went to a jump on it place {which p.s. I am scared of trampolines}
We jumped and such and I even did a front flip.. don't worry he was impressed by me over coming my fears of the trampolines and foam pits.
{Which I could never get out of those foam pits... ever time I jumped in I would plug my nose... not necessary and each time I tried to get out these women watching their children along the wall would laugh at me as I struggled to get out of the foam pit whether it was rolling or swimming or just trying to move all the freaking foam squares. I am glad I could entertain them.}
Then the accident happened
luckily not to me, but Mr. Phelps brother.
He did a flip but kneed himself in the head... so they refunded us all our money and said come back again but because of his injury they wanted us to peace out.
So Mr. Phelps and I went and got Polish Dogs.. loaded with special sauce and banana peppers
which were amazing.
We chatted about music and where we have traveled and what we do for work.
Then we went back to the Phelps residence and changed and took of to Boondocks where we played some mean Laser Tag and did the Go Cart Races.
{I destroyed in each of these... totally dominated}
We then all piled in the car again and drove to Wal Mart to pick up the necessary ingredients for our Mexican dinner.
We cooked it all and chatted
ate some dinner.
Watched this video... oh my I could die.
So hilarious and we just kept laughing about it the whole night.
Then we watched Scott Pilgrim Saves The World
and laid on the luv sac.
Seriously so so so much fun...
It was a freaking 12 hour date and I loved it.

50 {First} Dates
So... in Relief Society we were discussing choosing to be happy and being pro-active.
A girl in our ward made the comment on dating, she said she went to BYU and Snow College
the two schools you are bound to find a husband at...
But unfortunately for her, she had not found a man yet.
She said it finally dawned on her though.. she had to be proactive in finding an e.c. {eternal companion}
She couldn't just sit at home, watching chick flicks and eating chocolate ice cream.
She had to be making an effort and putting herself out their.
So she decided that she would go on a 100 dates in a year...
Once she had decided that, the dates started flowing on in, and she successfully met her goal.
So I thought.... huh, I want to do that.
So here we go... but instead I am doing 50 dates before my 23 birthday.
And I will blog about each one, just to keep track...
I am excited about it and hopefully {I am sure} this will be entertaining.

My Hair Is Gone....
It is gone... remember how in my last post I was thinking about growing it out... yeah that didn't happen.
Instead, I got an adrenaline rush and cut it all. off.
For reals.
I cried after the adrenaline was gone... I had an anxiety attack...
But now.. it is growing on me.
I will post pictures soon, but i am not a huge fan of the self portraits...
not my thing.
So I will wait for some real nice in the moment pictures to come, then I will post those.

Just a quick thought... or thoughts.
So...I have almost been home from Africa for a month now... and I miss it so so so so so much. I actually missed my card board pillow and cement mattress last night. I long too be their again in the convent with the nuns and the scary dogs barking out my window and bats flying right outside my door.
I miss those little kids so so much and I have missed the service I was able too do their. I guess that is why I am applying to Guatemala next year!! Cross your fingers I get in!!!
I might grow out my hair.. it has gotten thicker since high school. So I figure why not.. and their is extensions to make it thicker.
Last night was hilarious.... my tailbone hurts so bad!!! And now I have a black, literally black bruise on my butt. I officially love escalators now... last night is definitely in my top ten moments right now. Thank you Brooke and Bridget for sharing it with me.
Dating is silly....
This week I hit a year mark for being officially divorced... this is a huge milestone and I am so glad I have reached it.
I love the movie Something Borrowed... seriously makes my heart happy.
I am SO excited to start working out again.
I feel re-motivated in my work.
One of my best friends get's married this week to her high school sweetheart... well done JEN!!!!
I heard exactly what I needed to hear in church today... it remotivated me and strengthened my faith.
I am so grateful for a father who has the priesthood, that is such a blessing.
Life is good, it is hard work at times and confusing but it is good.
Welp, that is all!!! Peace.

I'm Home
I am home.
I made it back from one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life.
It was mentally, emotionally, and physcially exhausting.
But I loved every minute of it, completely, and whole heartedly.
I learned so much on this service trip.
I learned about me.
I learned I have asthma.
I developed an ulcer while I was their.
I witnessed some of the most amazing spiritually uplifting experiences ever.
My testimony has grown so much.
I miss the people of Kiamori, so much.
I loved the experiences with everything I am.
All the hard work was worth it.
So now I am home, and grateful for every little thing I have, I am blessed. We are all blessed. And we should be happy with what we have because the people of Kiamori are happy with what they have... and they have a whole heck of alot less.

Taking it To Heart
A heart is not a play thing,
A heart is not a toy,
but if you want it broken,
Just give it to a boy.
Boys they like to play with things
To see what makes them run,
But when it comes to kissing
They do it just for fun.
Boys never give their hearts away
They play us girls for fools,
They wait until we give our hearts
And then they play it cool.
You will wonder where he is at night
You will wonder if hes true,
One moment you will be happy.
One moment you will be blue.
If you get a chance to see him
Your heart begins to dance
Your life revolves around him,
Theres nothing like romance.
And then it starts to happen,
You worry day and night
You see, my friend, you're losing him
It never turns out right.
Boys are great, though immature
The price you pay is high,
He may seem sweet and gorgeous
But remember, hes a guy.
Don't fall in love with just a boy
That takes alot of nerve.
You see, my friend, you need a man
To get what you deserve.
So when you think that you're in love,
Be careful if you can
Before you give your heart away
Make sure that hes a man.

You Never Know....
Life is full of surprises... I think I say this A-LOT.
But it is true you never know what to expect and what is going to happen. Regardless of how much planning you do. Like take for instance my 4th of July weekend. My guy came up to go camping with my family. He made sure he made it up here. He started driving and his car broke down, so he FLEW here. How sweet is that?
But... alas as sweet as he is/ it wasn't meant to be, we broke up. It sucks. I am sad. I wasn't expecting it. at all, I really saw all of this going somewhere. And now I am left a little confused and helpless.
But everything happens for a reason, only my Heavenly Father knows where I am supposed to be and why things like this happen too me.
So I am trying to learn from this, because I truly believe that every person that enters your life is for a purpose whether to help you grow or for you too help them grow. I am trying to learn lessons from this experience and grow into a better person.
But until I realize the lessons I needed to learn I am going to keep busy I have an amazing family and great friends. Who have already been their for me and are keeping me way busy. I love them and appreciate their support and love.
So now I am going to go out on Summer 2011 with a bang!!
Who's with me?
Who's with me?
{And here is just a sneeky peek at what I got going on!!}
Africa {ONE week away...Ehhh!!!}
Keys On Main
Boating
Swimming
Drive In Movies
LOTS of Food
Shopping
80's Dancing
Possibly California
Maybe still Louisiana{crossing my fingers}
Camping Trips
and
{2} of my best friends weddings.
oh...
and my birthday.
Hizzaah for Summer and learning from unexpected changes.
Bring it on.

The Unexpected
Life is definitely not what you expect...
I have learned this first hand,
numerous times.
And it continues to happen too me over and over again.
I am dating this boy, totally unexpected, and totally the best thing that has ever happen too me.
He makes my heart happy.
So how does this tie into the unexpected?
Add and I have been friends for FOUR years... and now we clicked?
Crazy how things happen, but I wouldn't change a single thing.

Wish List
So.. be expecting alot of these "Wish Lists" over the next year or so, I have decided to try something new. It is called saving money... way weird idea right? So we will see how it goes... I am crossing my fingers that is will be way good. I think it will definitely be worth it, I am sure of it.
So this wish list applies to all things, including people, not that I have to pay for people, but they get included.

A Good Laugh
My family.. is out of control.
So what we put our dog in a garbage can and make him have piggy back rides and dress him up like a gangsta... it keeps our Sundays very entertaining.
Probably my most favorite... Mickey and my Padre.. so classy.

Today is Good, Real Good.
I officially love today. Why, you may ask. Well let me tell you, because their are lots of reasons.
I get Jimmy John's today for FREE at work... I guess something about our AR being at 14 days.
Whatever it means, it works for me, I get free food!!!
Today it is BEAUTIFUL, I am wearing shorts and flip flops... seriously perfect weather.
I am in LOVE with it.
I got my favorite eyeshadow that I have been missing and they discontinued but I found it, it gives me a "sunkissed look"
This weekend shall be fabulous for many reasons:
Uno: Tonight, I get to hang out with my family, I love it.
Second: I am going to this fine building tomorrow and am oh-so excited, it is much needed.
Thirdly: Since I graduated from COLLEGE... we are having a BBQ in my honor and having some of my favorite fixin's for a BBQ and Hello Dollies... mmmm. I heart food.
Fourth: I am going to clean out my car
And Lastly but CERTAINLY not least: I get to see a certain boy in 13 days and I am SO excited.
{Even though I just saw him 8 days ago, I feel it has been too long already.}
